6-Week Dopamine Fast Challenge

Overview: This 6-week challenge aims to help participants reduce their dependency on dopamine-spiking activities and develop healthier habits. Each week features an instructional call, activities, and accountability measures to support progress.

During the Challenge:

  • Understanding Dopamine: Learn the basics of dopamine and its role in pleasure, addiction, and mental health.
  • Identifying Triggers: Recognize personal dopamine triggers, document current habits, and understand emotional responses.
  • Managing Digital Consumption: Implement strategies to reduce screen time, limit notifications, and schedule social media usage.
  • Healthy Eating Habits: Understand the impact of processed foods and sugar, and develop a meal plan focusing on whole, unprocessed foods.
  • Addressing Addictive Behaviors: Explore the effects of other addictive behaviors, and create a plan to reduce or eliminate them with specific actions and support.
  • Accountability and Support: Engage in regular check-ins with an accountability partner, and share progress, challenges, and successes with the group.

After the Challenge:

  • Reduced Dependency on High-Dopamine Activities: Experience decreased screen time, social media usage, and reliance on other high-dopamine activities.
  • Improved Mental Health and Well-Being: Achieve a better balance between pleasure and pain, leading to increased overall satisfaction and joy.
  • Sustained Healthy Eating Habits: Maintain a diet rich in whole, unprocessed foods, leading to better physical health and stable dopamine levels.

About the Facilitator:

Tim Watts is a tenured professional in user-centered behavior and design, with deep knowledge of digital engagement techniques. After living a life marked by addiction, he is intimately aware of the harmful methods used by digital platforms to exploit dopamine addiction.

Having successfully completed two significant dopamine fasts, Tim transformed his own life and gained invaluable insights into overcoming addiction and restoring balance. His personal journey equips him with unique expertise to help others break free from the cycle of dopamine dependency.

As the facilitator of this 6-week Dopamine Fast Challenge, Tim will guide members in identifying their dopamine triggers and implementing strategies to reduce or eliminate bad habits. His goal is to empower participants to achieve a balanced and fulfilling life, free from the grip of addiction.

Challenge Details:

  • Start Date: Thursday, August 29 at 12:30 am UTC (Wednesday, August 28 at 5:30pm MST)
  • Schedule: The challenge will meet 6 times. Once a week on Thursdays at 12:30 am UTC  (Wednesdays at 5:30 pm MST) for 60 mins.
  • Subscription: One time payment of $99 USD for the entire 6 weeks and will be in addition to your Integration Nation member subscription. 
  • Private Group: A space for challenge members to share, respond, and receive support and accountability. Membership will continue to have access to the private group after the challenge wraps up.

Recording: All calls will be recorded and the recordings will be available for group members for 30 days after the meeting.
